Christmas salad

  • 350 grams white cabbage
  • 350 grams red cabbage
  • 2 big carrots
  • celery sprigs
  • juice and zest of 1-2 oranges
  • 2 green apples
  • 100 grams chestnuts (boiled)
  • 50 grams cranberry
  • 50 grams pomegranate
  • 50 grams walnuts
  • salt (preferably)
  • pepper (preferably)
  • chili flakes (preferably)
  • olive oil (preferably)
  1. Cut the cabbage in slim slices or grate them and put into a bowl.
  2. Grate the carrots and add into a bowl.
  3. Season with salt and add some chili flakes.
  4. Add the orange zest and then the orange juice.
  5. Mix and squeeze cabbage with salt, so as to wither.
  6. Chop the celery sprigs and add in the salad.
  7. Cut the apples in slim slices and add in the salad. Keep some for the top dressing.
  8. Add olive oil, season with salt and pepper and mix to compine. Serve into a bowl.
  9. Top with walnuts, cranberries, chestnuts and some apple slices.
  10. Add some flower salt and enjoy!
