  • 600 grams water
  • 300 grams granulated sugar
  • 90 grams margarine
  • 180 grams semolina (chunk)
  • 60 grams coconut (plus a bit more to serve)
  • a little salt
  1. In a pot add water, sugar, salt and margarine.
  2. Once it begins to boil, shower the semolina in the pot and mix very well, using a hand whisk. Be careful not to flocculate it.
  3. Once the cream thickens, remove from heat and add the coconut, while mixing very well.
  4. Place the cream either in baking pans or cake tins.
  5. Garnish on top with a bit more coconut.
