Sea breams baked in the oven

Ingredients
  • 4 sea breams (each weighing 300-350 grams, washed and gutted)
  • 100 grams olive oil
  • 100 grams water
  • 2 lemons (cut in slices)
  • 4 white or red onions (cut in chunk slices)
  • 100 grams cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
  • finely chopped parsley (preferably)
  • salt (preferably)
  • pepper (preferably)
  • oregano (preferably)
Instructions
  1. Dry off the sea breams using an absorbent paper and season them with salt and pepper, both internally and externally.
  2. In a baking tray, add the onions, cherry tomatoes and season them slightly.
  3. Place the sea breams on top of the vegetables.
  4. Add the lemons between the sea breams.
  5. Pour olive oil on the sea breams, making sure it is spread everywhere, next add oregano and parsley and if you wish, you can add a bit more salt.
  6. Next pour water at a corner of the baking tray. This way, the water won’t wash out the spices and salt from the sea breams.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven, at 180℃, set on fan, for roughly 55 minutes (depending on the oven and the size of the sea breams).
