Greek lemon roasted potatoes with sausage in the wood oven

  • 1.5 kilograms potatoes
  • 500 grams water
  • 250 grams rustic sausage (cut in chunk pieces)
  • 1 onion (white, finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 lemons (their juice)
  • 50 grams olive oil
  • 50 grams mustard (mild)
  • salt (preferably)
  • pepper (preferably)
  • sweet paprika or smoked (preferably)
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • 2-3 sticks of rosemary
  1. Peel, neatly wash and cut the potatoes into cubes. Put them in the tray.
  2. Add the onion and the garlic.
  3. Add olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano and mix very well.
  4. Add water and rosemary.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and roast in a preheated oven, at 180℃, for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the aluminum foil, add the sausage and roast for another 40 minutes, without the aluminum foil, at the same temperature degrees.
  7. Serve with extra paprika, oregano and a bit of olive oil.
