Glazed ham roast
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Cut the onions and carrots into big pieces and put them in a roaster.
Add the chestnuts and season with salt and pepper.
Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
Dip the meat pieces in the marinade.
Put the meat in the roaster.
Add some thyme or fresh lemon thyme.
Cover the roaster with baking paper and then cover lid.
Roast in preheated oven at 150℃ set to fan, for about 2 hours.
When ready, turn off the oven and let the roaster in it, for an hour.
- Cooking time might differ, depending on the meat.
- Use 1-2 greasy pieces of meat.
- Don’t use any water.
- Caramelize, if you like, by cooking on grill with no cover, for 5 minutes.
- It’s juicy.
- Dunk bread in the roaster!
